While Han would have obviously refused to leave without his best friend, there wasn't much he could do after he was shot by Greedo. While Chewie does have a wife and Wookiee family of his own ( see the infamous Star Wars Holiday Special), anything's possible.Īs Han Solo & Chewbacca continues, it will be exciting to see one of Chewbacca's first adventures with Kanata decades before she was introduced to audiences in The Force Awakens. As a result, the possibility exists that future issues will confirm whether their "romance" was one-sided with Maz simply finding Chewie attractive and wishing he was her boyfriend, or if they actually had a brief fling. Furthermore, it seems as though this new Star Wars series will continue their relationship (which will likely take the form of a prison break). Recognizing Chewbacca right away, it seems as though Maz and the Wookiee have already met before in the Star Wars timeline. Surprisingly, the issue ends with the reveal that Chewie's new cellmate is none other than the enigmatic (and enamored) Maz Kanata. However, Chewbacca was arrested and imprisoned by the marshals during the rescue mission. Having been captured by marshals, Solo and company decide to break Corbus out so he can lead them to wherever he stashed the urn. Now that the Millennium Falcon and the urn have been stolen by Han's fake father (who's in truth a criminal named Corbus Tyra), Han and Chewie are picked up by Greedo and Khel Tanna's crew in the new Han Solo & Chewbacca #5 to reclaim Jabba's prize. Related: Star Wars Officially Brings a Deadly Legends Weapon into Canon Combined with an angry Greedo who was originally their partner, a slighted crew from Han's last job, and Chewbacca facing off with none other than Black Krrsantan, the urn has become much more trouble than it's worth. However, that could certainly change with this supposedly simple job becoming an absolute disaster after they were conned by a man claiming to be Han Solo's father Ovan. Taking place shortly after Solo: A Star Wars Story, Solo and Chewie have yet to get on the gangster's bad side. That makes it worth a look in my opinion. In previous issues of Han Solo & Chewbacca from writer Marc Guggenheim and David Messina, the infamous smuggler and his Wookiee first mate were hired by Jabba the Hutt to recover an urn containing the ashes of one of his rivals. It's not the deepest experience out there, but it's still a solid game. To top things off you can even get it free-to-play making all the more worthwhile. A game worth checking out for fans of either series or just mobile gamers looking for an entertaining experience on the go. It's lack of depth and desire to appeal to everyone keep it from reaching true puzzle gaming greatness, but does every game really need to? Angry Birds Star Wars is fun. The game offers plenty of power ups to help you out when you do get stuck for a bit. Given that the goal it just to tear stuff down anyway it's entirely possible to just brute force your way through things. Some times shear dumb luck with no strategy at all can get you through it. It's not the type of game that's going to rack your brain as you search for the solution. Hardcore or casual, young or old, This Star Wars themed Angry Birds game has the potential to appeal to you. It's a title that can appeal to any age range of gamer and any skill level. One perfect for on the go gaming thanks to it's pick up and play nature. It's a pretty simple physics-based puzzler. The result is a much more balanced and enjoyable experience. However Rovio uses Star Wars to help fix those issues. You're bird's powers really didn't mean much in the face of the stiff physics and lackluster design. The thing that really made me dislike the first angry birds were the loose mechanics. Even if it didn't have the Star Wars skin it would have still been worth playing thanks to the tightened physics. However it's more than just the theme that makes the game fun. The new powers are enjoyable and genuinely helpful. Star Wars does a lot to make the Angry Birds formula more enjoyable.
